Varsity Coaching Staff

After two years as a JV and Assistant Coach at GMA, Coach Dailey is entering his seventh season as Varsity Head Coach. He has been a High School Teacher (German, History, TV/Video Production) and Soccer Coach for 32 years, with varied experience in High School and Club coaching and individual training.  Under Coach Dailey, the GMA Soccer team had 5 straight winning seasons with six district qualifications, reaching the PIAA District 1 AAA Quarterfinals in 2019, 2021, and 2023, the Semi-Finals in 2022, and the Final in 2020. As a Varsity Asst. and JV Coach at Conwell-Egan (2010 - 2016), the program won 5 straight District 12 Championships and was a PIAA Class A State Quarterfinalist in 2016 and Finalist in 2012.  As a Head coach at Harry S. Truman (2004 - 2008), the program broke many program statistics and season records, holding the current single-season record in program history. Coach Dailey also served as a Lead Coach/Girls Director and Site Coaching Director at Philadelphia Union Soccer Schools for six years, where he received the Master Coach Award and was hired as a Trainer for the NY Red Bull Academy Youth Program before joining the GMA Soccer Staff in 2017. He also recently coached with Philadelphia Union Youth and PA Rush and is currently the Steel United Club GK Trainer and head coach for the 2011 Boys Pink team.

Cole Hayden is in his first year as Assistant Coach/Goalkeeper Coach at GMA. Coach Hayden has over twenty years of coaching experience at the High School, Club, and Collegiate levels. He had previously been a coach at Abington HS, Montgomery School, Future Player Academy, and Delaware Valley University. Coach Hayden was also a Goalkeeper Coach with the Union Juniors under the direction of former US National Team and current Nashville SC(MLS) Head Coach BJ Callaghan. Coach Hayden served as a Lead Coach/Site Director at Philadelphia Union Soccer Schools for four years, where he received the Master Coaching Award.

Coach Hayden grew up playing club soccer in Dallas, Texas. As a youth player, he competed at the top level with the Dallas Comets and Dallas Texans. During this time, he was able to play in the Gothia Cup(Sweden), Dana Cup(Denmark), and Dallas Cup, where he played against top clubs from Brazil, Japan, Mexico, and Europe. Coach Hayden won five league cups and three Texas State Championships. After club soccer, Coach Hayden played collegiately at Baker University in Kansas and was able to go to England and train with Queens Park Rangers. 

Coach Hayden is currently a teacher at Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School in West Chester and coaching with Mo Soccer Academy 2007/08 Girls in Limerick, PA.

Mollie Hanson is a second year JV Head Coach and  a 2020 graduate of GMA.  She was a four-year varsity starter for the Monarchs. Mollie was a co-captain during her junior and senior years. She was named to all area teams, ACAA teams, and the team MVP. Mollie also played basketball and was part of the morning news at GMA. 

Mollie went to play at West Chester University. Her team went on to be National finalists in the 2022 season. 

Mollie loved her time at Gwynedd. Some of her best memories are of being on the field, and she is happy to be back out there again as part of the Swarm.
She is currently a Physical Education teacher in the Central Bucks School District and coaches for Nether Soccer Club
